Nigel Lowthrop BSc (Hons) MIBiol CBiol FRSA

Nigel is Founder and Director of Hill Holt Wood and a Consultant at JHWalter. He is a trained biologist with 35 years countryside management experience including nature reserves, research and an agricultural fencing business. He developed a concept, economic conservation, being a balance of social, environmental drivers leading to sustainable countryside. In 2002 Hill Holt Wood became a social enterprise and has won a number of national and local awards. Nigel’s time is also committed to national issues and he is increasingly called upon by Government to advise on sustainability and social enterprise. He joined JHWalter in 2007 to be Consultant to the Sustainable Resource Management Team.
